Havells HID MCCB Details

Most power distribution issues occur in silence. For example, the feeder pulls more current than what was expected at the time. A short circuit can also occur while under a load with maximum current drawn and if the protection device is not responding to the event in a timely manner, it could spread throughout the whole system.

This is why we place an emphasis on producing Havells HID MCCB circuit breakers for industrial and/or commercial applications.

This molded case type breaker provides reliable protection against overloads and short-circuits within Low-Tension (LT) Panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), Power Control Centers (PCC), and Distribution Boards. The Havells HID MCCB is available for three-phase applications anywhere that manufacturing plants, major infrastructure projects, and commercial buildings are located throughout the United States of America.

The entire assembly of a breaker is checked for trip accuracy and mechanical strength, so the operating mechanism will function and make a smooth progressing trip without sticking. Performance of the contacts is tested to ensure they can handle the rated load so that the ability to interrupt consistently will be achieved. The pressure of the terminal clamps are examined to ensure that they will not heat up due to having loose connections.

We are also aware of the limited available Installation space inside the panel. Therefore, the Havells HID MCCBs were designed to be compact, providing the necessary breaking capacity.

Adjustable trip settings are meticulously examined in order to make sure that effective coordination with the upstream and downstream protection devices will take place.

When installed correctly, the breaker should operate properly under true fault conditions. This reliability is the primary expectation of our customers when they purchase Havells HID MCCB circuit breakers. We manufacture based on this responsibility.
