The shop floor decisions are based on numbers. When there is late and/or incomplete energy data, then load planning becomes a guess. The Meter Panel Board is designed to provide the solution to this problem at the very beginning. The function of this panel is to provide uniform measurement (accuracy), good view ability, and safety isolation for metered circuits in an industrial/commercial power network.
Whether incoming or outgoing lines are grouped correctly, the readings for all will be stable, regardless of variations in load. The spacing of CT and PT mountings conform to national codes, and the preservation of correct polarity will reduce long-term problems with billing and/or monitoring as small changes in the wiring can create greater issues over time. The digital multifunction meters have been placed cantered (eye level), which allows for easy reference during regular patrols. Separating the control and power wires will allow for the elimination of signal noise from the measurement of data.
The meter enclosure has been designed to meet utility compliance, access sealing provision and tamper-proofing where required. We always provide ample space for terminate cables, because actual cable dress is very different than that indicated on drawings. Communication ports may be added to provide for energy management systems, allowing for the collection of data remotely and eliminating the process of manual logging of data.
The panel board will provide reliable energy accounting and tracking of feeder consumption and load analysis. The panel board can be used among manufacturing, commercial, infrastructure (construction) and institutional facilities as an essential tool for performing operational control based on the reliable electrical measurement of energy.
