Precision motion control is a critical driver for automation production lines. That's why we designed the Schneider Lexium 26 Servo to be able to provide the real-world level of accuracy in position, speed, and torque to any application. Our design approach focuses on reliability, rapid response, and ease of integration versus simply demonstrating theoretical specifications.
The servos are sized for actual load inertia and against the duty cycle, which is based on the operating environment. Thermal limits and peak torque capability are determined to ensure the units will not cause any down-time issues. Each wirings terminal is easily accessible, and the proper cooling requirements will need to be met for continuous operation. Servo tuning will be performed to match motor characteristics, thus providing smooth acceleration and deceleration without overshooting or vibrating.
CNC machines, packaging machines, robotics, conveyor systems, and automated assembly lines all utilize these servo drives. The use of encoders for feedback coupled with the use of PLCs or motion controllers creates the precise motion control sequences and synchronization. Programming flexibility provides the ability to alter servo parameters immediately on-site to meet changing production needs.
Turnkey installation support is provided, which consists of verifying connections to the servo drives, configuring control loops, and performing testing with actual load conditions. Servo drives are built to withstand the rigors of industrial applications and provide improved accuracy of motion, reduced wear, and continuous production. In addition, all units are tested, calibrated, and ready for reliable operation throughout North America.
