Schneider Servo Cable VW3M8102R100 Details

Changing motion cable performance characteristics, such as weight, flexing cycles, and distortion of data signal, are due to longer distance travel of a motion cable along the extended axis. The Schneider Servo Cable part number VW3M8102R100 is designed for these long-distance servo applications to ensure that signal accuracy and proper power output remain unaffected throughout the entire operation of the servo system in normal operating conditions. Perfect Automation & Innovation offers this type of cable for high-speed automation systems that run continuously with little or no tolerance for loss of signal.

The internal conductor of this product is designed to handle the maximum current rating through out its length without excessive heat being generated that would shorten the lifespan of the insulation. The cables are also manufactured with multiple layers of shielding to help protect the encoder signal from any potential interference, even when routed adjacent to other electrical circuits or switch type devices. The core conductor is also constructed using fine stranded wire that provides for flexible drag chain translation while also eliminating internal stress on conductor using tor flexing conditions.

By using factory-fitted connectors, you will have an accurate pin configuration as well as a reduced time for installation at the job site. The locking mechanism also ensures that the connector remains securely fastened from vibration and sudden acceleration, therefore preventing intermittent failures. The outer sheath of the cable has been selected for its ability to resist both oil and mechanical abrasion (wear), which is common on automated production lines.

Before shipment, every cable will be tested for continuity, insulation resistance, and shielding performance.

These cables are typically found on large CNC machines, gantry-style machines, automated storage systems and long distance material handling equipment, where precise positioning, stable response to motion, and continuous feedback generate reliable and consistent production.
