Industrial equipment often fails due to lack of equipment protection from dust, water, and mechanical damage, which can lead to equipment failure and ultimately to panel downtime. To meet this demand, Schneider Enclosures are manufactured specifically to provide electrical system protection in industrial environments from all three of these industrial issues. Our goal is to provide durable, accessible, and practical solutions instead of only aesthetic solutions.
Every enclosure will accommodate either a standard size or custom‐sized panel and will securely house the electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and control devices. The materials that we utilize to construct these enclosures will be selected specifically for their ability to withstand the corrosive effects of moisture, the impact of machinery, and fluctuations in temperature. The designs of the doors are developed with grooves to properly seal the door and to provide a means to lock the door securely when closed, thereby increasing the safety of the electrical equipment inside the enclosures. The internal design of the enclosure provides for easy access to all electrical components while providing for organized wiring and clear labeling of those wire connections. Openings for ventilation to allow for continual operation without overheating have also been included.
The applications for these enclosures can vary widely, but they are typically used to protect sensitive electrical devices in industrial manufacturing plants, cold storage facilities, water treatment facilities, commercial buildings, and the processing/automated industries. Optional features such as IP rated seals, modular compartments, and cable entry points can be provided to meet specific operational requirements.
Installation assistance to ensure proper mounting, bonding, and functional testing will be provided for all Schneider Enclosures. These Schneider Enclosures will provide practical, reliable protection of industrial electrical equipment, reduce downtime, and maintain operational reliability. All Schneider Enclosures will be tested and ready to go to service throughout the USA.
