The Incoming Electrical Supply is connected using a correctly rated Isolator or MCCB to match the available size of the Electrical Supply and the Outgoing Circuits will be the MCB/RCBO combination so that all circuits can be individually protected and quickly isolated in the event of any electrical failure. Neutral and earth bars will have separate connection points and will allow sufficient room for the field wires (incoming supply wires) to connect correctly as field wiring does not generally arrive with the correct pre-determined lengths for the above connection methods and correct wiring lengths. Phase indication will include a digital voltmeter option, circuit identification will be included on all just like the above statement, and there will be sufficient space for Maintenance to check / test the circuits without having to remove the enclosure's door.
The internal layout of the panel will allow heat generating devices to be located away from the control terminals. The wiring will be routed in formed channels with clearly defined ferrules for quick troubleshooting. Sufficient spare ways shall be provided for future extensions without disturbing any existing loads.
Testing of the panel will include inspection of insulation, checking functional operation of each of the outgoing feeders, and checking load balancing. Upon installation, the panel will provide stable single phase distribution, will prevent nuisance tripping, and will allow simplicity of service access for daily electric maintenance.
