Real load conditions on a drive effect the ability of a drive to produce accurate and smooth motion. This is why we have designed our Schneider LXM26DU07M3X Servo Drive with a focus on performance in typical applications, rather than only in ideal lab test conditions. Each individual unit will instantaneously respond to a load change while maintaining the control and safety of the motor.
Each drive is specifically configured to the motor's rating, torque requirements and duty cycle. The motor's thermal limits and the peak current will be considered to prevent trips and overheating of the drive. The drives will have wiring arranged in a manner that will provide for simple installation. Wiring terminals will be readily accessible for on-site adjustments. The Servo tuning of the drive will provide for smooth acceleration, deceleration and position control with no oscillation or overshoot.
This type of drive system can be used in robotic applications, CNC machines, conveyors, packaging lines and assembly automation applications. The ability to use an encoder as feed-back will allow for very accurate synchronization and adaptive control. Connections with a PLC, motion controller or HMI will be simple allowing operators to monitor the system in real-time and make parameter adjustments.
During commissioning, connections will be verified, loop tuning will be performed and load testing will be completed. Drives will be verified under typical operating conditions. This will help improve production accuracy and produce a reduction in mechanical wear while maintaining operation in an uninterrupted manner. All units are tested and calibrated prior to installation and will provide long-term, reliable service throughout the United States.
