Busbars (metal bars used to interconnect circuits and serve as pathways for the current being distributed) are sized based on calculated loads and fault levels; incoming and outgoing circuits are isolated from each other; and cable alleys used for termination and visual access have been provided. Circuit breakers and meters will have been selected based on their respective ampacity ratings (size). Electrical safety is ensured through the use of appropriately sized circuit breakers and adequate wiring identification, labelling and segregation.
